Hi all

Another option for those who wish to set stops and go away and forget about the markets for a while, is to use automatic trailing stops.

CBS offer them:  you set a distance from the price & a 'trailing step' so that whenever the price moves up by that 'trailing step'(making a new high), the stop is automatically moved up as well, but staysthe same distance away from that 'last high'.  Not only will this protect your positions from loss, but if your positions move profitably while you are away, that profit will be automatically locked in.

cheers

It took me a long time to learn how to reply, then they changed to the forum and it took so much time, I asked Mark!

Once you get SPA on to a laptop life becomes very easy.

If you are travelling within Aust you can get mobile broadband. Alternatively, you can plug your lap top into an internet cafe and get broadband.

These days many hotels have wireless facilities and that can be used as well.

If you are overseas then it is a matter of being slightly flexible with your times. Aprart from that all the above facilities are avaiable overseas. In fact most overseas countries are much more advanced in their internet facilities compared to OZ.
