I noticed tonight that Osprey is no longer listed as a ShareFinder product on their Website.  As someone who purchased the product recently; should I be concerned.....?

Chris,

Very observant.

No we haven't dropped Osprey. Osprey will continue to be supported and the research that I intend doing on the money management will be done at some stage.

We have decided to remove it from our webpage to reduce the number of enquiries that we get. With the way that the market has been over a number of years now there are more and more new entrants into the equity markets. Most come with a small amount of money and want to grow it quickly with little or no trading experience. With all the hype and advertising that the CFD providers do most want to get into CFDs. Also, as the bull market matures there are more and more unscrupulous vendors out their talking up the potential of trading.

When we are contacted by this type of prospective customer it is Osprey that they want to use. It takes long telephone calls to explain to them that short-term trading with high leverage and little or no trading experience equates to a very low probability of success. When we tell them that the smaller their capital base the longer term they should trade with less leverage this is not the answer that they want to hear. Of course they will get the answer that they think they want to hear eventually, but not from us.

Over time we should re-instate Osprey to our website but for the time being there are sufficient Osprey traders out there for the leverage levels that can be traded with Osprey with CFDs.

I trust that this helps clarify our company position on Osprey.
