Download and re-run the upgrade and the error will not appear.  thumb

We have released another upgrade with the version 2009.7.16 to correct an issue with importing TM files.

For Australian SPA customers you can download the latest version from the following link.

For South Africa SPA customers you can download the latest version from the following link.

ever since I installed Trademaster I have not seen the full screen to know what version I have. This has not been rectified by this latest version.  I only see the L half of that screen.  Can this be rectified?
Thanks

I have not used Spa Trademaster for a while and decided to use it again.  But after I downloaded the recent update I could not open it.  I got the message that says
Spa Trademaster cannot run without a database. Please locate your database and copy to
C:\Users\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\SpaTrademaster\  ??

I was able to open it and use it just before I downloaded the upgrade.

So where do I find this "database" to fix this problem ?

Jing,

If you haven't used TradeMaster for awhile I assume that you don't have a current 'live' database with up to date trades in it. If this is the case then  the quickest resolution would be to download the "New Installation" for TradeMaster rather than the "Upgrade". This will install a brand new database in the correct location.

Dear Gary
When I did the upgrade, a new shortcut was created on my desktop.  I got that error message when I tried to open Trade Master using it.  The old shortcut was however still there, and I could open it using the old shortcut, but it was still the old version not the new version.

Should I uninstall the old version first and then reinstall ?  Where do I do a complete new installation from ?
Thanks for your help

Hi Jing,

As discussed on the phone, the FULL INSTALLATION within the members zone will install a fresh database and you can remove the old shortcut from your desktop as it is irrelevant to the new version.

Any further problems, give the office a call. thumb

Kind Regards,

Hi Mark,
I have down loaded the latest upgrade today,I then entered a pyramid buy to my portfolio which then deleted my original buy as well as the pyramid buy from my portfolio in both the current status & open trades-current pages. However it shows up correctly on the open trades-snap shot page.when i open closed trades i get a error in data signal for the stock i had committed to the portfolio seems like some  sort of data transfer problem. Please advise as to how i can reinstate the deleted stock to my portfolio as i cannot find anyway obvious on the trademaster site. thanks  Bathy

Hi Brian,

As discussed today on the phone, an error has occurred when committing that trade.  Please delete the original BUY transaction and then re-ACT ON both signals and commit to the portfolio.

Kind Regards
