Figues for Income Tax Return
« on: 26/01/2008, 03:11:50 PM »
Hi All,

This may seem a silly question but I am preparing my 2006/2007 Income Tax Return (yes I know I'm late doing it) and am having trouble sorting out the figures to show my Accountant re SPA and Aureus profits.  What is the best way to do it?  With regard to SPA do I go to "Financial Statement" and click on the period "Last Financial Year" - Display trades "Open" and Type "Closed" then look at the Summary to get the amount and Trade Details to get details of trades to show my Accountant? OR do I go to View & Edit Transactions - export details of the buys, pyramids, lightens and sells - then copy and paste to group the transactions together into the different companies and then add up the profit/loss?  I've tried both ways and they do not seem to agree.

With regard to Aureus do I go to transations - copy to excel and then sort them out or just go to "closed trades"

Thank you,
Rhonda

Hello again,

Please disregard my earlier post - I've now seen the light and have worked it out  :)
