Effective immediately, the official data download time for ASX data is 20h00 AEST, Monday to Friday.
Changes have been underway for some time to improve the reliability of source data feeds that have resulted from outsourcing and consolidation in the industry (e.g ASX outsourcing to S&P). These are still ongoing and while this transition continues be believe that it is better that we set a more realistic expectation for our customers.
However, on the majority of evenings data will be available before 20h00. If the collection of your data is time critical for you may I suggest that you attempt data collection at 19h40.
